Bess Atwell is gearing up for the release of her remix EP Already, Rearranged and has dropped a new single from the collection. ‘How Do You Leave’, re-worked by Billie Marten and Ellie Mason, is a true experience to listen to, and completely reinvents the original track. It opens with choppy edits that turn samples of the original track almost into percussion, before distant, retro jazz piano chords takes the tranquil piece in a new direction. You can feel influence of trip-hop and Kate Bush’s more experimental works, while feeling the impact of the original track trying to find its way out of this musical maze.
